We thank you from the bottom of our heart for your donation. Please note that while we are a registered Nonprofit in the state of Connecticut, as well as with the State Department of Consumer protection, we are not yet a fully recognized 501c3 entity, and your donation is not tax deductible. Feed the Need Northeast will pay all applicable taxes until our 501c3 status is received. All donations will be used for the acquisition of food and educational material used to conduct our outreach events and activities.

What Drives Us
Feed the Need Northeast is a nonprofit organization with a passion for tackling the serious issue of food insecurity. We do this by combining education, engagement, and empathy into a recipe of team-building and outreach opportunities designed to leave you ready to make a difference one bite at a time.

In Connecticut alone 1 in 8 residents, or nearly 500,000 residents deal with food scarcity on a regular basis.
Nearly 1 in 6 Connecticut Children (16%) deal with food insecurity on a regular basis
88 Million meals are needed in Connecticut alone to close this gap.
How it all started.
Who doesn't love a good PBJ!
A group of volunteers was busy making 500 PBJ sandwiches for a local organization. The room was filled with chatter, laughter, engagement and a sense of purposed. I remember there thinking, "now if only my work team building events were this fun."
The three "E"'s of our mission.
Better team engagement raises worker productivity, lower absenteeism and better community awareness.
Better education brings an increased understanding of facts, stigmas and challenges of food scarcity.
